p.1 #1 · Isabelle (EBW)

EBW stands for 'Exposed belly warning'. Here's a few photos from the other day. We shot these in our clients house and then in the park next door...

Some really stellar images here. The last two are wonderful, a unique treatment for maternity. Thanks for sharing.

Excellent stuff!!!

Question: How close was your light to the woman on 13? It looks like a single light shot. The results are gorgeous!

Thanks Ron. Probably about 20-25 feet.

Images are wonderful - But EBW? Give us a break! Just what we need, one more encrypted warning!

The last two shots are unique and well planned. Love them.

#14 is my favourite of the set. #13 is similar but I suggest a crop of viewer's left side. Lets not keep the left-most trees in the frame, since they introduce a new colour.

#6 is a great shot to show the 'bulge'. Some others are well done, but don't show the size or shape of the bulge - #2, #3 & #5 are examples.

I enjoyed and admired the bed shots. Good job there too.

Wow...they are all great.

I love the way you lit #12. It would of been so easy to lose the belly in that shot but you lit it in a way to really feature it.

Terrific set as usual Some great moments and relaxed feeling this family will cherish as the baby grows. Definitely has your style to it. Last shot is really awesome. The expression in 10B is interesting. She looks a bit terrified.

Tony these are absolutely beautiful. Each one is very well done. Some of the best maternity photos I have seen. These photos have made the mother to be look very sexy. Bravo. The last two especially 13 reminds me of one of your wedding photos from a year or two ago. Absolutely off the hook. 6 is another one of my favorites.

So it goes without saying that the last two are stunning, but I like # 12 in particular... the flash shooting through the rain and wide aperture really provide a beautiful bokeh affect. I'm guessing the Sigma 85...?

# 11 is also very very fun with the unique angle. Very intimate, non-cliche set that this family will cherish for a long time.

Ha ha, normally I skip maternity stuff, but I had to see what EBW was. Really nice, Tony. I always loved your original famous rain backlit shot, but I gotta say, 13 certainly gives that one a run for it's money.

Speaking of image number 5, it almost appears as there are two distinct points of focus in the same image, the flower vase and the woman.... Two different exposures? It's a neat effect.

Thanks. That's a tilt-shift lens. Just one exposure.
