Not a great picture but i wanted to share as the little guy seems to be helping me find the others.....that were all fighting over one of my 5 feeders around the house today......
Cold damp December day in North Saanich, BC but the Anna's Hummers are all over the place......In really cold weather I hang a feeder from a poultry lamp 24/7 to keep the sugar water from freezing.......They treat it like a solarium just before dark......I love the little guys...
Cool shot. I wish we had year round hummers around here. From time to time something other than ruby-throated will show up close to where I live (KY) but not very often and I have never personally seen one.
