I've seen a lot of reviews so far, and wondered anybody actually has their hands on the Nex-7 yet? I registered at B&H to notify me when the shipment is arrived, so far...it's quiet at Western front, and my wallet is itching...
Chances are if not preordered, delivery will be late jan at best. From what I gather first shipments aren't scheduled to be in hands until mid to late December, in limited quantities. I'd be shocked if mine was in there
I had gotten my hands on it... during a local photo fair in october. I liked it. I have some pics from it (with a 24/1.8) but the EXIF implies that the firmware was not final (it says MODEL-NAME v0.06 in the Model field ).
On that note, Sony's site had an approximate shipping date of Dec 7 for the 24mm 1.8, and today it says out of stock. Anybody have something come through on that?
Hmm. I ordered mine on day 1 from Amazon, but still no estimated delivery date or update from them on availability. I wonder which outlets are getting these first deliveries.
According to Sony Rumors a few people said they got emails from Sony Store that their pre-orders will ship next week. Looks like those that pre-ordered though Sony Store will be the ones getting the first batch of cameras:
