Buddy gave me a Jueying cable release to use on my D3, but it seems to work intermittently/not at all. What could I be doing wrong, or is it just the cable release and a new one would work fine?
I didn't have your brand, but probably have a similar Chinese brand I bought from ebay. It worked as long as my camera was active, but I found that once my camera went into sleep mode, pressing the release on the remote wouldn't wake up it up. Learned a lesson about Chinese remotes that day - don't use them if you can help it.
Anybody want mine? Only thrown across the room once.
