The title to this weeks Weekly Assignment.
Here is a potential entry I am working on. Appreciate your comments, fine-tuning suggestions.
Would you keep the framing (an FM addition) or can it?
I think you are mixing up your metaphors with the sepia toning to try to make the photo look old when its the bike that's old and abandoned you found and photographed yesterday. The focal point for me is the bike but I find it getting lost in all the trees and the structure competing with it. As is my SOP I cropped in tight on the bike, expanded the frame outward and stopped when I found the background context trumping it's impact and got this...
I dont mind at all.
Decided to go ahead with something close to the original comp, no toning, and another round of selective contrast bump to dark and mid-tones.
Posted on the WA.
Thanks for the feedback.
As John said, should be a good competition. He has a strong entry to view as well.

I like the original too. Looks like a good entry. I was thinking maybe trying vertical tilt correction make the bottom (bike) bigger in the frame, not sure if it would work though since it looks like you're already shooting at an upward angle.
