A little back ground, I ended the year with some spending money. I have decided to add to my camera collection a M43 camera. I already have an adapter for my olympus lenses to M43. I have a panasonic GX-1 on order, but I am feeling like I want instant gratification. BTW I have been accused of not being very patient.

It is amazing how different we are
Sorry, can't help, I am also considering both, as well as the V1 and the X10 and... I am getting nowhere in the decision process (but I also don't have the money now, which means I am not thinking so much about it).

We may not be that different. I have an account that I squirrel away the 2% that I am not giving to the uncle each month. I had totally forgotten I had set that up a year ago. Absences of mind is my best personality trait, lack of patients is among my worst.
New doctors often require patience while working to attract patients for their practice.
An impatient patient may not get the best service from their doctor but might receive an icy stare from admitting staff who generally prefer patients exercise patience.
I am patiently wondering if thread readers have the patience to wait for the thread to return to the key, original, question.
To return to the original question, only you can decide on the question of patience, but the E-P3 is more classy, with in-body stabilization, but messier menus, whereas the GX1 will be typical Panasonic, no in-body stabilization and more typical looks, but more MP, better high ISO and a more logical menu system.
I am mainly looking for a new body for my macro work. I have had issues with stability while shooting with my bellows. Even my 10D is somewhat unwieldy on the bellows. I also would like the higher ISO as I often am taking photos at house concerts, where the use of a flash is not wanted. IBIS would be great for both, however I would like to see more MP and a faster processor than the E-P2 has. I love the look though.
As it stands now being patient is what the community is suggesting. I have had fun with this topic while I wait for Panasonic to start shipping to the USA.
I will also be buying some impatiens for my yard, just as soon as the weather changes. Oh wait that is like in April.
I am exercising patience, waiting for a GXR to be logged in at my parcel receiving service across the border. I feel like volunteering to help with their Christmas rush so I don't have to be as patient.

I'll help too, it it will relieve the boredom of waiting.
