p.1 #1 · Mierda! I accidentally re-rated all 15k photos on my laptop!
I was intended just to 'sort' by the 'star' ratings, but no.... The undo function doesn't appear to be avail now, since I panicked and shut down iPhoto trying to stop it when I saw what was happening. My back up is on a NAS drive, but that rating data transfers to the backup files. (that's another issue...)
any ideas? I assume the prior ratings are all lost now. right?

I don't understand what the ratings mean, but if you did not lose the photos then at least next time you can refine the backups. I only store photos temporarily on a notebook. If the ratings are stored in the app can't you go back to last week's backup of OS/apps or whatever?
