Remains of a spider but really not sure what happened but think it was fairly recent.

Might be a victim of one of those spider wasps-- they snip off the legs so that the spider is still alive when they feed it to their babies, or inject them with larvae, or some other hideous thing...

Neat shot regardless of what happened. All that hair reminds me of scat, but if it is, I doubt the spider would be so intact.
