Sure they are, would have to be gelled and even then never perfect. What I want is a Lowell ID focuing spot that took AAA's or even D's and as handy as a flashlight.
If someone was smart, they would make one for us. I don't want to lug around a belcor and haven't found any smaller ones that do much good at all.
I had a couple of these, but battery power was terrible and only 15 watts.

I also have a light panel and it's supposed to be color correct, but it's not even close and really needs to be on a light stand anyway, if I do all that, I might as well shoot CLS.
