I need something small and powerful to do fill light handheld.

I used to have the little sunpack video lights but they were neither very bright or last very long.

I have a light panel but it doesn't work very well either and it's too bulky.

The other day I saw this thing at Battery plus. 200 lumens and last a couple of hours. It was very bright for such a small light and took 3 AA's.

No clue on the color temp except it's closer to 7000k than 5000k.

I need something to go in my pocket as a walk around fill light, any ideas?

How about a twelve inch Photoflex LiteDisc? No batteries required, you're not dealing with a teeny tiny source (casting hard shadows), and you're not dealing with mixed light.

Folds up to three or four inches, fits in most full-size pockets.

The color temp and CRI of flashlights is inconsistent to say the least, and cheapo lights are likely even more so.

Sure they are, would have to be gelled and even then never perfect. What I want is a Lowell ID focuing spot that took AAA's or even D's and as handy as a flashlight.

If someone was smart, they would make one for us. I don't want to lug around a belcor and haven't found any smaller ones that do much good at all.

I had a couple of these, but battery power was terrible and only 15 watts.

I also have a light panel and it's supposed to be color correct, but it's not even close and really needs to be on a light stand anyway, if I do all that, I might as well shoot CLS.
