I went to the Big Lake yesterday in quest of waterfowl. They apparently were sitting tight somewhere else. So I turned my 400mm F5.6 on the flora of late Autumn.

400mm for flora, interesting. I like the silhouette in the first. Nice shapes and line. Nice fall colours in the last 4.

Douglas- I agree completely with what Y says. A 400 can even be used for scenics

The first image had me puzzled for a few moments- Those look like pointy Christmas lights and Christmas ball decorations on a tree. Odd.
