Just curious if any of you can point me to a good person for logo design. I have absolutely underwhelmed by the last two designers I have tried working with. I'm looking for something a little more than just two different type of fonts stacked on each other. Sorry if its off topic but I shoot mainly weddings.
Personally if I were to hire one, i would give them a clever idea, and then let them put different varieties and twists. If you don't give them your vision, 2 different fonts stacked on each other is what you will get.
The way we found ours was to google designs we liked and they usually led to the designers blogs. Find a style you like and start from there. The flip side, I've been told is that a designer should be able to design to any style. But I don't know if I buy that (although I know nothing about the design world), but it doesn't work that way for photographers.
