p.1 #1 · Sold: PENDING Final Price DROP Canon 50 1.2 L (UX date code)
Hi,
I am going to put up a ton of Canon gear over the next few days. I've decided to reduce my gear considerably and sell the gear that I don't use on a regular basis. All of this gear has been babied by me and most of it has not even left my studio.
Everything comes with boxes, papers, warranty cards, soft pouches as it came new from Canon unless otherwise specified. I accept Paypal, personal check, certified check but <b>any costs are up to the buyer to cover</b>.
Shipping will be added to the price after buyer has sent me their zip code.
Third up is the famous 50 1.2 L. It's a super sharp copy (I've had a couple of them and this one by far had the best optics).

Hi Mark,
I'm interested in your 50/1.2 lens. . . . I'm a little paranoid about these. The only copy I ever tried (a Canon demo loaner at a workshop) did indeed have the dreaded focus shift at f/2. I make a significant portion of my living doing headshots with an 85 at f/2. 70-90% of my close-ups are tack sharp on the iris I focus on. With the 50/1.2 I tried - that was 0 out of 20 at f/2 . . . and 2 out of 3 at f/1.2
Would you be willing to get me a sample of how this lens does at f/2? . . . a close-up headshot with the focus point on one iris would be ideal.
The other question is - if you're willing to do that - are you also good with shipping to Canada?

The lens is currently pending sale. Jay if the current buyer detracts his offer I will for sure make those pics for you and I would have no problem shipping to Canada.
