I think I still have the manual and some accessories but I will have to look before I guarantee them to be included. I can include pictures tomorrow.
PLEASE READ
D700
The camera is in decent condition cosmetically, I am the original owner, it has just under 50 000 actuation's. There are some marks and scuffs. It became a back up to my D3's early in its life.
I encountered a problem where I receive an "err message" every X shots (after a few hours of use or after 15 minutes). I just had Nikon Canada check and clean the camera this month and they said it is fine (cost me $479). After using it for a day I discovered the problem is still there (I have tried a few different cards too).. This "freeze up" is currently corrected by turning the camera on and off when it happens. I do not know how it will progress or what the problem is, but I no longer trust the camera for fast paced work and I could not be bothered to pursue a fix any further. So you can take Nikon's word that it is fine or mine that it still is a little unpredictable. Because of this the camera is being sold AS IS and is a final sale.
MB D10
This grip looks a little rough. I personally do not like a gripped D700 so it sat in my bag and I am sorry to say it got abused cosmetically. This grip is also being sold AS IS with the camera and final sale because I have had some unusual freeze ups with it as well. It could be just related to the D700 or perhaps the conversion parts to use my D3 battery with it and the connection was poor/faulty? Nikon also looked over the grip a few months back and it came back as fully functional according to them. I have not used it since.
I am not a camera repair man but I do know how it performs in real life, so please use your own judgement concerning the risk involved. I think this camera would be great for a casual shooter etc. but I do not want you to expect flawless performance.
I think my price is fair but I will consider offers. However, the sale will go to the first one to say "I'll take it" or "the phoenix has landed"..your choice. lol
I am not sure actually. But that is a good point. However, there was not technically a repair just a "check and clean". They say everything is fine, I may look into that. Thanks.
To all the other PM's I have a sale pending. If it falls through I will provide all the other info/pictures you requested.
Thanks so much everyone.
Hi Vinnie, Yeah it is a rip off. It is just under $800 for any repair on a D3. Basically if they touch even the smallest thing $800. Yikes! eta: Sorry error on my part it is: $479
