John if it will make you feel any better I looked for your box in Hong Kong a couple of weeks ago in shops that specialize in used/older equipment. No empty boxes of the type you want. But if you want an FD 85 1.2 I know where two of them are waiting.
Thanks but only a 1.0 box will do. I will mount it in a glass case along with my 50 1.8 VERSION 1!!! box (try finding one of those babies) and put it on display in my office.

I have a mint condition 50/1.0L box with original packaging which I would be willing to part with for $4,444.44 plus shipping.
Heck, I'll even throw in a free 50/1.0L lens if you want it... or a 50/1.8 if you fancy that instead. Personally I recommend you go with the free 50/1.8 option since it's easier to carry.
