For Sale: Markins Q3 ballhead, "No Loctite" version. LNIB (purchased in December 2007). Never used the Quickshoe for shooting. Includes ballhead, Quickshoe, titanium stud, box, manual, ballhead cover.
"No Loctite" version: Markins uses loctite to secure their clamps to the ball. The no loctite version gives you the option and versatility to easily switch clamps. I was using a RRS lever clamp on the Q3 (see photos below). You will need to use some loctite to secure the clamp according to your preference (RED = permanent; Blue loctite = semi-permanent). Loctite is readily available from Home Depot or auto parts store.
