p.1 #1 · Sold: Gitzo 1548 MkII $lower! | |
Price Lowered! Now $400 shipped Cont. USA.
Older. Some wear, but functions perfectly, just back from Gitzo with full service, replaced bushings, works like new
Comes with Gitzo box, packaging, wrench. INCLUDES CENTRAL PLATFORM, NOT SHOWN IN PICS!
This is a big tripod, rock solid, even in a strong wind, for your Supertelephoto. This is the one I left my Wimberley II on full time, for my 600mm lens use. The 1325 is ok with the 600mm, but not in a strong breeze, IMHO. This tripod also, although a 3 leg model, extends higher than the 1325, for all you 6 footers out there. I will replace it with a 6X series, this fall when I get back to birding.
This tripod just had ~$120 repair at Gitzo/Manfrotto New Jersey to bring it back up to as new performance. Completely reconditioned, and works like new, all new seals and rings inside the legs. Cosmetically, two of the 3 rubber feet have been pared down from the original shape, it was like that when I got it. Absolutely no effect on the tripod, just a beauty mark.
Half the price of a new comparable tripod, $400 shipped insured to continental 48. Money back guarantee...you get it, you don't want it, send it back (you pay insured shipping). When I receive it, I will refund your money. Unit performs perfectly and I am sure anyone who wants the most rigid platform for their super-telephoto will love having this at less than the cost of a 3-series platform.
Includes leg wraps as shown.
