As much as he hates to do this, my younger brother needs to sell his 40d and 580exII flash. He just bought this gear this past spring ('08) and needs to sell it. He would prefer to sell this as a package so preference will be given to those who want to but everything.
Here's what he's got:
Canon 40d kit -- this body has about 2,000 clicks on it and is mint. Not a mark or scratch anywhere. Comes with everything that is new in the box, including strap, battery, charger, manuals, CDs...everything. Includes the 28-135 kit lens that is in mint shape. He's also got a 4gb CF card that will be included.
Canon 580exII -- I'm still using a 550ex and a bunch of Vivitars, but I used this flash for my daughter's graduation a couple of months or so ago and it's one awesome piece of gear. Again, this comes with the original box, stand, case...everything that came with it new.
Price for the entire set-up is $1,400 shipped to CONUS only. Paypal preferred, but will consider other options if the buyer is established.

EDIT: I'm getting lots of PMs about selling the flash separately. Here's the deal...he and his wife had an unexpected drop in income (read: short-term layoff) and they've gotta make house payment for July. A month or two from now he'll probably buy this gear again, but for now he can't afford to split everything up because selling the flash and not the body doesn't get him where he needs to be. Just being honest.
If, for some reason, he changes his mind and decides to split this gear up, I will edit the listing. I would suggest using the "subscribe" feature so you'll know if/when that happens.
