p.1 #1 · Sold: Manfrotto 681B Monopod + 3229 head

I have a like new Manfrotto 681B monopod and 3229 swivel tilt head with quick release plate. It was used probably three times and has sat in the closet ever since. Price is $80 shipped.

The picture looks like a monopod...is it a mono or a tripod?
Thanks

Sorry, it's a monopod. I had the title correct, but goofed up the description.

How easily does the plate release? I've heard some mixed reviews about the 'pod and, since I'm looking for one, would like your feedback- what's the biggest lense you've used on it? Stable?

Edit: Errr, what I meant to ask was do you find yourself nailing the quick release lever? Is it locked or lockable?

I haven't had any problems with it, but I only used it a couple of times. The biggest lens I used on it was a 70-200 f/4L, which is relatively light. The only reason I'm selling it is I sold the 70-200 and don't really have a need for a monopod. I mostly shoot landscapes, architecture and night photos so I end up just using my tripod.
