Micro-Nikkor-P Auto 55mm f/3.5 serial #647897 with M extender lens. No box or papers has Nikon front cap and Tokina rear cap. Includes the M Nikkor extension tube (has a capital F on the tube also) which allows you to mount it on the D300 or other AF Nikon without any problems.

Lens has minimal brassing and bag marks in 8 condition? No major marks and no fungus in it. Aperture blades move freely. It works well and looks good for the age of this lens. I will add a Sandisk 2gb Ultra II with this lens for extra incentive. Least expensive way to see if you're "into" macro work!

Folks, I stumbled into this version of the 55mm 3.5 micro by accident. It was offered at a local shop for a good price, and looked like new..in every respect! I bought it just to have it, found out it would not work on my D70s or D50 without being Al'd . So I found out, on this forum, who does that..and had it done! For $35 or so, you can have a lens which will meter on your D200 or D300, and on the D50, D70, D70s and D80, you have to judge the exposure. It's a great flower lens without the extender.
I'd post some photos, but downsizing them for the internet will not allow you to see just how sharp this lens is.
Oh, and you fellas who can judge exposure and have a D40 or D40x, and I think the new D60, can use this lens without the extender!
Believe me, this is a great lens at a great price if it's like the one I own.
