DEAL REACHED PENDING FUNDS! THANKS FOR LOOKING!
Just recently picked up a 1Ds locally and purchased an L bracket for it here on FM. It's my 4th 1 series body, has absolutely the best feel and shutter sound, but after shooting last night, I'm realizing I need something lighter for traveling this summer.
Proposed trades:
-30D alone (I already have a BG-E2) with an extra $1200 ($1100 if you don't want my L bracket).
-40D alone (I already have a BG-E2) with an extra $900 ($800 if you don't want my L bracket).
-5D+BG-E4+L bracket, straight up
As absurd as it sounds, I'm actually aiming to get a 30D because I need the extra funds to pick up a Macbook Pro for this summer as well. It never ends
Need to do perform this transaction quickly though - have a shoot on the 19th and really want to get the new camera in my hands for testing and lightmeter calibration by Thursday or Friday at the latest. Willing to kick in the difference for faster shipping.
This 1Ds is really in immaculate condition, very, very low mileage with only ~19,400 clicks. Includes a Kirk BL-1D L bracket (not pictured). The LCD appears to have been covered since day 1 and any marks you see in the picture are basically invisible in your hands.
Includes the box, neck strap, e1 hand strap, nc-e2 charger, DC coupler, software guide, and 2 canon batteries. Batteries hold a moderate charge, but this is normal for the older np-e3 batteries. I'm running a full refresh cycle on them right now, they *should* be back to nearly full life once its complete, but no guarantees on that. No corrosion in the battery compartment, only very minor brassing on the hot shoe. Small tip - keep 1/3 of a stop of over-exposure dialed in and you'll never see any noise . Firewire cable, software CD, and user manual not included - the manual however is freely available (along with tons of other great PDF's and how-to's) at www.eosdoc.com
PLEASE E-MAIL ME FOR FASTEST RESPONSE.
If you're interested in an outright sale, I'm happy to sell, but need to get my hands on another camera before I can sell this, or at least wait until the 20th to ship it. The asking price for the entire package above is $1800 (was $1999) plus $40 to cover shipping and GCO/PP fees. Take $100 off if you don't want the L bracket. Just last week a 1Ds with 10K actuation was up for $2150 (and no L bracket) so this price is very reasonable, given the condition and low mileage.
