Yes the Corkscrew is a challenging and exhilarating part of the track, but I have to tell you that going up and around a blind turn 1, then descend at 135mph into turn 2 and try to wait and brake at the 200 foot marker is my favorite part of the track. This trip was such an amazing experience. We got to walk the track (which gives you such a different perspective), try out a couple different restaurants and hang out in the Big Sur area for extended times. My first race at Laguna will be next June. I really cant wait to get back to the area...So beautiful.
