p.1 #1 · We just transferred our flash site to our blog as a blog site
Can you all take a peek to make sure our site is working. We just transferred everything from a flash site to an all in one blog site. Took about 5 hours to get it all setup and transferred. We were just getting sick of updating everything on both the blog and flash site.
See if it loads at a decent speed for you.
See if the links work.
Let me know if I should add anything.
Dont really care what you think of my work. My clients love it and we book 30 or more people a year so we know it might not be your style but it works for us and our clients. Basically just want feed back on the site not the work on the site

One thing I notice and am having issues with is my static page. I have it setup the correct way but every so often for no apparent reason, it will not show up and my blog shows up instead.

site is working...loading time seems a little bit slower than most which is weird because most pages have no images on them ("photographers" for example) - still quite laggy. Are there a lot of large images or something in the header?

Agreed that it is very slow moving between headings and in the Wedding Gallery it's very jerky when it transitions to the next photo.
One thing I noticed is that when you click a "vendor" it leaves your website entirely. Is there any way to have them open in a new window and keep your site active?

I would tone down the watermarks a tiny bit. Quite large and a little distracting. What I do for mine is keep the size of the text the same, but shrink the logo in the circle down a few notches. Otherwise nothing more than what has been said. Good work!

Site does look good. You might want to enable an option under the P3 background tab - for the background not to scroll. I think it will look better - right now if scroll fast the background just looks very busy. I just moved my blog off godaddy and the speed improved tremendously!!!

Thank Alex, where to you move it to? I need off shitdaddy so bad. Been with them for 5 years and they are good, don't get me wrong but ever since I got a blog it has been getting slower and slower. I know it is not my blog because my friend and I both installed the same theme, custom coding and plugins just to test and his is faster.

Good call... We have been thinking of doing that soon too. Might just make a simple watermark and load it through the p3 custom settings and let the blog deal with it instead of running actions in cs5.

Three thoughts:
1. Site looks good
2. Site is a dog in speed (I bet I can guess who your ohLookIJustShotAnElephant provider is)
3. you shot at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood FL and you didn't call. YOU SUCK.
1 thanks
2 I know they suck. Looking in to moving. Any suggestions?
3 I know I was supposed to call but when I was there we were so busy we never had a minute to ourselves until the end of our trip the last night when we ended up at some club in Miami.

Hope that helps
Thanks Paul... I can change the vendor section to open in a new window. Good point there thanks for reminding me.
The wedding gallery is jerky at times but I think that is shitdaddy loading slow.

The header isn't it because I turned it off and it was still slow. Go daddy is the curse of me.

One more thing, has anyone experienced the static page on their blog work intermittently? Right now my static page works but I bet if I check in an hour it doesn't and goes sight to the blog. Drives me nuts.
