I would tone down the watermarks a tiny bit. Quite large and a little distracting. What I do for mine is keep the size of the text the same, but shrink the logo in the circle down a few notches. Otherwise nothing more than what has been said. Good work!
+1. I know it's about advertising and protection. But the log and whatever that hangs off it is distracting to the point that it affects the viewing experience. Maybe you can lower the opacity?

You're getting slow load times because Godaddy's shared hosting database servers are extremely slow due to the massive load they put on them.. any site (like a WordPress site) that uses a large amount of calls to a database will run slow to extremely slow on Godaddy.. if you want to stick with them you're going to have to get a dedicated server to get rid of this problem, which is entirely cost prohibitive for a site like yours and overkill to say the least.. or switch to another provider.. hostgator has decent speeds when it comes to database performance although they can be slow at times depending traffic...
You should always be cacheing your site with either a cache plugin, something like WP Super Cache or using 'Expires Headers' on your site... if you don't know what the latter is just install a caching plugin and you should see site performance increase to an extent..
