sort of OT... but if anyone is interested there is an 18mm/11 takumar fisheye (same type as I have on Page2 of this thread) on E-Bay right now with no bids. I'm not sure if this is a good price since they dont pop up very often... but it seems reasonable to me.

I had one of these breifly in the early '80s. It is a decent lens. I don't recall now why I sold it -- at the time, I worked at a camera store and did a lot of whimsical trading...

indeed it is the 500mm f4.5 Pentax Takumar, fotodiox rep said my orders on the way (crossing fingers to get out tomorrow with it).

just picked up a sigma 400mm 5.6 in OM mount... not really sure why since I would need to adapt to shoot it on my A700. I alt to think a little longer before I bid on random stuff

I've been accumulating some Canon FD lenses over the past couple weeks.
As of right now I have:
FDn 28mm f/2.8
FDn 50mm f/1.4
FDn 100mm f/2.8 (got it for free since it had oily blades, being repaired right now)
FDn 200mm f/2.8 (It's a bit beat up but still produces good results on film)
FDn 35-105mm f/3.5 (I really like using this lens on my T90)
Likely coming soon (once I confirm condition of the glass w/ the sellers)
FDn 35mm f/2 (really excited about this one, I've heard good things!)
FD 85-300mm f/4.5 S.S.C. (This will be a lot of fun to use on the GF1 )

Im everywhere Dan! when I've got some stuff to post i gladly will. I dint have a working adapter for my GF1 yet. The one I have doesn't focus to infinity.

My new OM Zuiko f/4.5 300mm MC arrived today from Tokyo, Japan. Looks like new. Glass is in perfect condition. Serial No.: 148064 (made in Japan). Price was US $190,00
(EUR 135,81), very reasonable compared to prices in Europe ( € 300,-- to € 400,--).
Very happy with my purchase, bought at the same time the original OM Extender 1,4x.
Should be a nice combo.
