My FD TS 35/f2.8 finally got to Australia from Poland. Bought on 20 Dec and cleared Polish customs on 23 Dec, so I was starting to worry.
Might see if an old T90 will work and christen its use with film , before fitting the FD-EOS adapter (EdMika version).
Nah - T90 is dead. I have an FTQL that was bought as the rear lens cap on my FL55 /1.2 but no metering in evidence as there's clearly no battery. No worries - I attached my latest CZ 50/1.7 purchase to my 1 D Mk III and metered for the TS 35/2.8 on the old FTQL.
briantho - that's a wonderful CZlens and a superb orchid picture!

I have a general question for those who sell stuff on the b/s/t here. I have my camera and some Canon and Olympus lenses listed on POTN (canon specific) forum but have no biters. I'm thinking about paying the fee and listing here. Do you have good results here?

I've never had problems getting stuff to sell within a couple hours to a couple days of posting. If your price is reasonable (check recent sales here where applicable) and you have good pictures/descriptions of the items, this is probably one of the highest traffic sites for finding lots of interested buyers.

I just sold some Leica M stuff, and I got about twice as many offers on getdpi as here, but I think both are worth it, and next time it might be the other way around. Both are recommended. If you don't get any interest, you may need to lower the price. Even if the price appears fair, there just may be no interest at that price.

Picked up a Contax N 24-85 off the B/S board...just need to get it to Conurus for his magic. Not an alt lens, but I did get a Mirex T/S adapter for Mamiya 645/Canon...superb piece of engineering (although the spring-loaded rotation clips are a bit fiddly to get to).

Warren Buffett said the secret to a good marriage was to have "low expectations". That can be applied to other fields...
Actually, I didn't know what to expect from the 28/2 having seen mixed reviews/comments.

Perhaps not at the heart of alt groups cravings, but the new Sigma 12-24 mkII for 5DMkII will arrive on monday. And I am pretty excited to try it out, as I've been missing their excellent 8-16 since i sold my 7D. Brand new style, gone is the strange furry finish, thank you Sigma. Maybe I'll give it a spin on the NEX 5N too

Continuing my soft focus quest/madness:
Mamiya 145mm f4 Soft Focus is on it's way to me.
Maybe one day, my madness will continue right up to the Imagons?

I got this lens a little while back. The optics are pretty terrible. Also, the aperture blades are pretty weird. Are they on backwards or something? Anyways, I think I will stick to my contax G45 for use with my NEX.
