Got a very nice Summicron DR from someone on here, other than that picked up a PC-Nikkor 35/2.8 that I am pretty pleased with so far. Take a look at this full size image, approx 8mm shift. Yes, I need to clean my sensor; damn 1DsII seems to attract dust like a magnet.

ewww. I just got a Minolta Rokkor 45/2 (part of a Minolta AL rangefinder) for free and I swear there is something living inside this lens. I'll have to take a pic a little later.

Today I picked up:
Hexanon AR EE 52/1.8 & 100/2.8 (he brought the 52/1.8 by accident, I was looking for the 50/1.7)
FD chrome nose 35/3.5 (still looking for 24/2.8, 35/2, 50/1.4, 55/1.2, & 100/2.8)
FD SSC 100/2.8 (I'm not really looking for ssc's, but couldn't resist)
Nikkor SC 55/1.2 n/ai(This will go nicely with my NC 24/2.8 & 35/2.8 shift, next on the list are 85/1.8 & 105/2.5)

Since the focusing ring is concrete, I am thinking of getting another one. If you post examples I'd be happy :-)

The grip? Or how it turns? Sounds like a CLA is required.
I meant how it turns, it's very hard, almost like a glue that (almost) wont let go. What is a CLA?

GoPro Hero2 ... nice improvement over the regular GoPro HD ... more dynamic range, 10 frame bursts, 11 megs, various FOV's, easier to use menu, slightly better in low light. Doing a shoot next week with 14 mini-cams, a number of Canon's for time-lapse and five Sony F3's

CLA = clean, lube, adjust, an American term for maintenance. Probably the oil has partly evaporated and hardened. It would need to be removed and replaced. Some places do work like this for something in the 100 Euro region, depending on how hard the lens is to work on.

I had a good week (my wife feels otherwise, but I digress...) as I bought a 50mm Minolta Rokkor f/1.2 converted to EOS by Jim Buchanan. Locally I stumbled into a very good deal on a Nikkor 135 2.8, non AI. I've never owned one before and now I'm looking for an adapter. The glass is wonderfully clean and blades super snappy. I think I'm gonna love it!
When you come here next bring that along with.
