Congratulations on the OM 50 1.4, Molson. I love mine. How's yours?
It just arrived yesterday, so I haven't had a chance to shoot with it yet, but I was very pleased that the condition is much better than it looked in the eBay photos.
Popular wisdom has it that Olympus tweaked the optical design starting with serial number 1100001, so I'm curious to see if there is any visible difference in performance versus the older version (I also have one with serial number 893xxx). I did notice that the newer lens is about half an ounce (12 grams) lighter than the older one...

I got a Konica Hexanon 135 f3.2 for about $50 on ebay late last week, have only used it a little. Not too many Konica fans in these parts? I've got this one now, and a 50, both quite good!
This morning: wet pine needles with fog and prayer flags:

nice collection! how does the 500/8 reflex perform ooc?
Thanks, Derek. I just recently received the 500/8 and due to poor health and lousy weather I have been unable to do any real-world meaningful tests. But the little I have done is on one hand encouraging (it seems to be better than I expected) and on the other hand daunting (sensitivity to vibration along with thin DOF indicate a challenging learning curve.) I suspect that hand-held use will yield limited IQ. Hopefully when we get some decent weather and suitable subjects I can get outside with a weighted tripod and find out what is possible. The following ooc JPEG (a7r2, size reduced in PS CC with no additional processing) was at approximately the minimal focal distance of 4 meters using a monopod. Each target is 7 centimeters square.

Recently picked up a Rodenstock Retina 35/4.
Does anyone have a line on a solid Retina/DKL mount adapter? E, A, EF, F, I'm not picky about the camera mount. I have three I purchased from three different sellers who appeared to be advertising three different adapters, but when they arrived, they were all the same (same packaging, even) and none of them can work the apertures consistently on any of my Retina-mount lenses.

That matches my experience. I had the Schneider-K Retina 45/2.8 and 135/4 lenses, but none of the two or three diffrerent DKL to EF adapters that I tried (of different apparent parentage) could dependably work the apertures. I gave up on that branch of the Alt tree.
