I received my Rollei XF 35, the focus was jammed, so I didn't feel too bad hacking it apart to get the optics out, wow is the optical block tiny, now all I need is a donor helicoid, I was debating on the collapsible Industar 22 in LTM or the Industar 50 SLR lens that's in M39, in the end I decided on the I50, as it has more helicoid movement.
The only thing I'm not sure about is if I'll be able to mount any sort of aperture diaphragm

What did you use to get those patterns?
Hey, I used a simple umbrella with speedlight. (shoot through)
Depending on angle and distance you get different results, so I usually spend a lot of time with positioning lights and subjects, especially with two lenses.

I have to say...the 100/2 is really a wonderful lens. It's actually the only lens I've purchased three times. I owned it first around 9 years ago, when I was shooting with a Canon 30D. It was good, but too long on APS-C. After around a year or so, I sold it. When I bought a 1Ds II, I repurchased the 100/2, and really enjoyed it on that camera. When I switched to mirrorless, again it was sold. This is now my third copy of the lens, and it's just brilliant. I'm amazed at the sharpness wide open, and I've always liked the bokeh. It's got some fairly significant longitudinal CA, but otherwise, it's fantastic.

A mint (even the caps are pristine..no scratches or dust) SMC Pentax 35mm f/3.5 K. I'm happy with the FE 35, but I like Pentax 28mm f/3.5 so much I wanted to give the 35 a try.
