p.219 #3 · What is your most recent (alt) lens purchase?
got my Nikon 50mm 1.2 Ai-S last friday to play on my A7, sold it yesterday.
I'm just not into super fast lenses, f/2 is my sweet spot and already have a Voigtlander 50mm 1.5, Leica 50mm cron and a Contax 50mm 1.7 for that.
Looking for a cheap Jupiter-8 50mm f/2 though for a Sonar look

My MD 35-70/3.5 finally arrived from the Netherlands today. It's in great shape. The few test shots I took today seem quite good. The very extreme corners go soft, but otherwise it's quite excellent.

Nice lens. But why did you have to go to overseas, for the price maybe?
Indeed it is one of the most common lenses in Rokkor - Minolta MD/MC line, may be only second to 50mms.

Finally bought myself a Voigtlander 75/1.8 (M-mount). It's smaller & lighter than I thought it would be. Initial shots indicate that it's a fabulous lens.

There were honestly none for sale in the U.S. At the time I was shopping. KEH had none, none here at the time, none at my local old lens dealer (who has almost everything) and none on eBay from US sellers, save for one who wanted over $200. There were a few of the older Rokkor branded ones, and a few of the later MD non macro versions, but none of the Macro versions. I paid $79 for this copy. Listera wrote:

Interesting, maybe the impact of inflated number of forum posts praising the lens? I stumbled upon lots of them in Ebay but maybe did not pay too much attention in the details. It is a nice lens and hope you like and "use" it. I have the original version, Zuiko 3.5-4.5 close focus and Zuiko 3.6; and all of them has their pros and cons!

Lol I was at my local camera shop looking around. I really wany a nikon s2 or one of the old nikon rangefinders and I saw the pentax. The lens is in excellent condition.
