Had been keeping an eye out for one of those for a while. This copy is practically mint.
The rear shroud prevents mounting on the 5D with an adapter. Luckily this shroud can simply be (reversibly) removed after removing 3 small screws. Now it mounts just fine.

Please post some pics from it, I've always liked the feel that this lens produces.

Will do, but might be a while still. Hopefully I get a chance on the weekend to go for a walk. Spring is 4 weeks early here in south-west Germany this year (compared to being 7 weeks late last year) so with a bit of luck there'll be good light rather than grey-in-grey.

grabbed a good used Zeiss 15mm f2.8 ZF.2...and I've been stuck at work since I got it. haven't had time to really test it out much yet. kinda bummed out about that . got some fun plans for it though....must...be....patient...

Finally found a Canon FD 35/2.8 TS at a good price. Also picked up an FD 35-70/2.8-3.5 SSC. Short of an FD 200/1.8L falling into my lap for an unheard of price, that should cap off my Canon purchases.

Nice!
I'd like to hear your opinion on the zoom once you have used it some, I already know you'll like the T/S.

I add my views to those of LightShow, the FD TS 35/2.8 is a wonderful thing
Went to a camera fair today, hoping to sell off a few things.
Well, as is predictable, the small number of dealers there were more about selling, or buying at trade prices, so I bought a couple of lenses instead...
My first Minolta lens, an MC Rokkor PF 58/1.4
and
a Tomioka (Auto Chinon) 55/1.2. I found my 20-30 yr old M42 - PK adapter, added a cheapie PK-E-mount adapter, so now it's sitting on my A7R waiting to be tried in a few seconds... I have no idea if this lens is a dog or not, we'll see.

Oh, yeah, the T/S is an old friend (though my first copy had been EF-converted). I'm excited about the zoom, which feels odd to type because I am much more a prime guy. But the 20-35 and 80-200L's have been so useful, I'm curious to see if this can stack up well between those two. It just arrived. I'll post samples when I get something worth sharing.

Minolta Maxxum AF 70-210mm f/4 "beercan"
grabbed one off ebay for $117 total and it's in very very good condition. guy sells a bunch of random things online and he found this in his parents attic with a bunch of camera gear that was his grandpas. came with the box, manual and everything in nice clean condition. i'm itching to shoot with it on my A7 (waiting on the la-ea4 adapter to arrive)
