+1. I thought the G zoom was the one G lens that couldn't fit into a NEX. That is what Conurus wrote.
what i've heard before is that you can attach it with the kipon adapter if you attach to the adapter to the camera prior to attaching the lens to the adapter. this way you never turn the lens within the NEX mount causing internal interference.

I see you posting images taken with C/Y 28mm. What differences do you expect with the Contax G 28?
Nice images BTW!

(who also happens to wait for the adapter to the Contax G 28/2.8 that lies here on the table... )
Just for the small size of the G28 ;-) Among the various C/Y lenses that I have, I found myself using the 28mm most. Happen to have a chance to pick up a like-new G28 (and also G90) at good price. Will use it when I want to just carry light. I suspect the C/Y lens has smoother bokeh then the G.
Which adapter do you order? I am waiting for my matebones. Let us know how it works out for you.

On the bokeh side I am not too sure, I think the G28 has decent bokeh.
FreZeiss: ZM50 looks good on the NEX, pleased with it I presume?

Ehrm, I may have made a mistake but I ordered a cheapo one. To me it's (or was) simply a milled/cut piece of circular metal that needs to pass some tolerances - but after reading here I may have to eat my words. But for Canon that has always worked fine. And to add to the worries, the Contax G adapter has a focusing ring, something I am sure you could choose to do well or worse. When it arrives I'll report
The problem is, that the producers of the cheap adapters tend to make their adapters "on the safe side", which means to be sure that you reach infinity they just make it a tiny bit too thin. This results in the "focusing past infinity" that you read all over this forum. The Voigtlaender and the Novoflex adapters are spot on. Yes, they are expensive, but they are so well made that I just own one for my 6 M mount lenses. And, honestly, if I mount a lens on the Nex that costs a couple of hundreds or thousands of dollars I personally do not want a wobbly thingy that does not work as it should (infinity).

I have a Voigtlander and it is a really solid well machined unit.
Three with the Minolta 35-70 3.5 macro. The third one is a gamut torture test and I had to export in aRGB to get even close to representing them correctly. Yes, the flowers are actually that red - I tried to back down their intensity but it ruins the look. Funny thing, on the 5N's LCD it was nearly impossible to focus that shot - the reds were completely blown on the screen! This photo is a very heavy crop of the entire shot.

I have the planar and C-biogon, very satisfied with both. Waiting funds to arrive for a ZM 21 to complete my kit
