In my experience using MF lenses on various Sony cameras, including the A6000, I find that in order to get consistently good results, you need to use focus peaking in conjunction with magnified view, depending on light and contrast in scene. This is very doable, but takes practice. If you rely on focus peaking all the time for all situations, you may be disappointed.
After only one day with my a6000, I am really impressed. As soon as I figure out how to upload pictures again (I've been away for a long time), I'll post my early photo(s). A Hasselblad VARIO-TESSAR T* E 16-70mm F4 ZA OSS lens is on the way to my door. I hope I won't be disappointed.
