Thanks. Compared to something like the 28mm F2 FE lens, the 24mm F1.8 seems unusually large for such a conservative design. But something about it's micro-contrast and sharp focus drop off keeps me coming back to it.

The Zeiss does not distort much. Processed in LR 6 with lens correction. Shot at 1/60, f2.8 and iso 2000. I also processed it for noise in Macphun's new Noiseless app. It does an amazing job and I highly recommend it.
I had that lens for a week. Although I didn't try using it as a "50" that would probably be it's most satisfying case. Had a pretty bad hit rate (those almost in focus a6000 pictures) taking waist up pictures of my fast moving kid.
Love that shot! Although even wider lenses such as the 1018 can be quite successful on the a6000, if you are critical about image quality (and for me, looking for some magic to the colors and contrast) the 24 zeiss is the perfect marriage.
