A perfunctory grab of a Ferrari 458 Speciale parked in our valet at work. I wish I could've gotten better shots, but time and location were not on my side. Shot with the 50mm f1.8 at iso-2500.

The 12mm shots look like a lot of fun. Amazing what this small camera can do.

One from a track meet yesterday. My first outing with a 10-18 I picked up on the B&S board.

Steve, that is a great capture! I really like your choice of perspective. I've been on the fence with the 10-18. I have the 12mm Rokinon, but some autofocus and zoom would be a cool addition!

One from yesterday, we had a good friend graduate to become a Nebraska State Trooper. Cool stuff. Captured with the Rokinon 12mm.

@Nex, nice to see that 12 samyang show up, your shot is a really prime example of what one would hope to accomplish with said lens. The 12mm touit seems to be producing nice stuff as well, even though it is a little slower. Did you by chance deliberate choosing the Zeiss lens?

Spring color (not really), NEX F3 deep IR, Nikkor-S 35mm f/2.8

Steve,

Terrific timing on this picture with the left hand carrying the sun. Wonderful image.

One from a family session yesterday. This little guy was awesome! Captured with the Rokinon 135 f2. What an incredibly sharp lens. I actually like the look I am getting from it better on the A6000 compared to the A7 I had.

What wide eyed enthusiasm, Photoomaha. I have been looking at that lens, so thanks for the image using it.

He was a blast to work with. How can you not smile! I will get some more examples up with the 135. Feel free to shoot me an email if you need larger files.

It actually isn't bad. Just use both hands and good positioning. It is nice having the depth of focus be so narrow, you can really dial in the MF quickly. The faces just 'pop' when they are in focus.

@taran: No, choosing the Touit was never an option for me. The Samyang is a great little lens, which is most often in my bag. It is very very sharp from f 2 on, lightweight, always reliable and even more affordable than the Zeiss.
An interesting comparison:

I haven't done much (any, really) in the way of street photography, or snapping random strangers, but I was having a bored moment at Starbucks and decided to play a little with my new lens, the 50mm f1.8. These were shot in a very lazy fashion - framing via LCD screen, shot in jpeg and edited only with Perfect Effects 9 (free version). Hopefully, they'll show you can achieve decent photos without much effort.

Some samples taken with the Rokinon 135 f2 on the A6000. For me, this is probably one of the sharpest lenses I have ever worked with. Combine that with the telephoto effect, and you can really isolate your subject. The size and weight really aren't that bad with the hand grip of the A6000. I'm sure the A7II would feel about the same with this lens. I had this lens with the A7 and didn't like the feel at all. Most of that had to do with the A7 body and grip. I never got comfortable with that camera...
