Few from a beauty pageant I attended last night, all with A6000 and 24-70FE. I was not impressed by that lens, I wish there was a 2.8 normal zoom in E (FE mount), F4 is just too slow....
A standard 2.8 zoom would be huge and heavy. I think the best bet would be to hope for a E-mount version of the Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 zoom, slightly smaller than a 17-55 APS-C 2.8 and definitely smaller than a 24-70 FF 2.8.
It seemed to focus very fast when I was shooting planes landing at a small airport by my house. I was shooting at 11 frames per second and had most of them in focus.
It is a little and I put the ground out of focus in PP. That was about the most out of focus shot I got out of the series. I like using the 28-70 on the A6000.
I did sell it. Replaced it with the a6000, then the A7, now I'm out of sony and moved to Nikon. Thinking of picking up an NEX or A6000 kit for backpacking this summer... we'll see!
The NEX6 is no slouch though! Most of my pictures this past summer were shot with the NEX6. It performed really well in good light. Higher ISO's like 3200 were ok, but just ok.
Great camera for the price now a days though, if you can get past the menu system.
I bought the a6000 for our walk on the Camino de Santiago last Fall.
I liked it so much I gave it to my wife and got the a7m2 for myself.
The a6000 with a wide angle prime is a great carry-in-your-pocket travel camera.
First image made using the smooth reflection app. I think that one was made with 256 images - the equivalent of about a 4 minute exposure. Love this little cam.
