Lots to like in this image, from the comp/crop to the clouds to the pond reflection....but what I most like is the almost discordant green lit house on the right and how the green tree/bush in the right foreground is similar.

Cheers!
Thanks Joe. Don't know if you remember but your pictures on this thread are what inspired me to get the A6000. Also you taking the time to answer my questions when I emailed you meant a lot to me. Your float plane picture is still one of my favorite pictures ever. I ended up getting the A7 too.

Mike, I hope you're still enjoying the a6000 now that you've also got its bigger brother! I too just ordered an a7ii to try. :~) Sony is certainly on to something with their mirrorless cams. The a6000 of all my cams is the most fun for sure.
Thanks for the kind words re the float plane photo. A gallery here in town wants to feature my stuff this summer for tourist season and I think that photo will be one I hang ~ large, on metal. :~)
Joe, fabulous colors and compositions set against the cold of winter.
A few shots from a 40 or so year old Konica 50mm f/1.7 AR lens on a6000, some with tubes, others near MFD or native lens. Colors were incredibly saturated, among the richest reds and magentas that I have seen from any lens. Pleasant surprise from my father-in-law's old set.
A couple of images from our recent cabin trip. First one is with a Canon 300 f4. It is the view from our deck! The second image is with the 35mm 1.8. I had some cool stuff going on with the smoke from the fire.
Started to post on FM as from today and experimenting with frames and how they work with different types of images. This is one from my heavily used and loved, yet now dysfunctional NEX-5N (blurred colours on the touch screen which negatively influences manual focusing).
