Like you mentioned in the previous thread, the HSS is setup on the flash and only selected flash units have that feature. It is not something new that Sony invented, I am afraid .

Thank you. re: HSS, in terms of off-camera HSS, I was unsuccessful in trying to get my former Sony A7r trigger HVL58AM off camera. On-camera HSS works fine, I suspect it will be the same with A6000 (I have HVL43M coming to me in the mail next week).
Several from last week in the San Diego aera. First three are with the 55-210 lens, next the 16-50 PS and last with the 50 F1.8 lens. I think a lot of that lens.

Went out early this morning. Got some OK shots, but nothing great here (My favorite shot was a little later, and is in the Fuji thread). The biggest issue was that despite some rain yesterday and a damp morning, the flow in all the waterfalls was pretty lackluster, especially at Cedar Falls. This was almost the dryest I've seen that fall (and complicating some of the better views of that fall is a giant tree that has fallen across the gorge.)
Just my normal workflow. I actually think the 18-105mm is the one that's a bit off from most other lenses. Not that it's bad or anything, but it renders much cooler than many other lenses.
