That's impressive alan, I may have to get one of those as I'm starting to get a few FD/L lenses. The 3rd shot of your previous series above ( ... F4 maybe?) is another good one at the edges.
Nex 5n has been a fantastic camera for me, and each time I lift the A7r---I wish it was so small and light!
However FF is heaven
Another thing which astounds me is how well the A7r performs at f/16. On the 5n I try to stay around 5.6 shooting landscapes if the edges are there with whatever lens, because I really see the difference past that point.
But the young designers worked their butts off to improve diffraction and it seems to show
This thread has improved my shooting and inspired me time and time again. Long live the NEX image thread!
mcbroomf, great images from the Rokinon 16mm. I was debating about the Zeiss 24, but that's a lot to drop on the "Zeiss" emblem. I now have a better idea on which one should go with.
@Jim: To be honest, it's from post-processing--I wanted to see how far I could stretch the colors out. Things just started getting smudged in the fine tree tip areas. No biggy, I'm still pretty pleased My girlfriend said I didn't take these pictures when I showed them to her!
