Derek, that type of shot with sub100mm can only made with NEX and tilt screen. If use DSLR, the birds would think you use some type of gun pointing them
Shot some stuff this weekend at a bouldering competition, a regional final. Aside from urbex, this is my other preoccupation. I posted into the "Metabones Speed Booster" thread as it was the bigger consideration... but of course this all came out of a NEX-5N, and I even had some special advantages (and some obvious disadvantages, as in no AF) against the two retained pro shooters who were there as well.
Hope y'all enjoy these. The Speed Booster truly does open up some interesting avenues and totally broadens the envelope of what the NEX can do.
You Washington photographers are so blessed this time of year... when its good up there, its REALLY good, great work. Hoping it holds till next month when I get there. Pilgrimage to Coupeville for mussels and the the Victoria for some Bouchard Garden macros.
