Thanks, Philber and Sculptormic, for your comments.
Errz, beautiful abstracts.
Michiel (Sculptormic), I looked at your website. Love your sculptures - very impressive! I too appreciate Constructivism, and love Mondrian and I personally see hints of this in your work, both in the sculptures and photography. Congrats on some fine work.

Thank you Bill, well seen. I appreciate you took the time to look at my work.
I feel part of a great tradition and at the same time I don't want to get stuck in it.
Photography is a sort of new obsession, although I have been doing it for a long time but it is overgrowing everything else at the moment.
My website should be updated, especially the photography department, but I am to busy with other things including photography.
Lovely shot, CoDaQue! That said, two comments if I may. One, your shot seems to lean a bit to the right. Two, the vignetting feels out of place in a bright sunlight shot like this. What do you think?

Guilty on both accounts.
I was kneeling so there is some perpective distortion which I did not fully correct, but I wanted the column in the middle of the square to be vertical.
As for vigneting there is some that comes with the CV15 which I acentuated, matter of personal taste I guess...
My wife and I went to Las Vegas last week for a short holiday. Had a great time, including trying out a SEL 10-18 f/4 lens on my NEX-7. Here are a few samples:
First, a "human statue" at the Venetian. This was at 18mm, f/5.6.
Finally, Mandalay Bay and the aquarium. This was at 10mm, wide open at f/4. It is also an in-camera HDR, with the usual over-exuberant noise reduction. Still, it was a dark place, and I was happy to get the shot.
