Somewhat new user here and came across this thread. Love all the great photos from our NEX cameras and thought I'd share my own. On a recent trip to Vancouver and Seattle, I brought only my NEX-7 along with a Contax/Zeiss Biogon 28mm and Planar 45mm.

Collin,
Let me guess. The first and last photos were taken with the 28 and the middle ones with the 45. Right?
Sheesh, are the magenta corners that obvious?
Yes, you're correct (I think, since no EXIF data). I came home, processed a lot of photos and decided that the 28mm just wasn't for me as I intend to shoot the NEX-7 instead of the 5N or 6. I don't like relying on Cornerfix and while I'm sure it works well for some people, I've decided to go with traditional SLR lenses instead of rangefinder lenses in the wider focal lengths. I have a Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AI-S which should be delivered tomorrow; I just hope it can match the color/sharpness of the Biogon. We shall see!
If you use Capture One, the functionality to create a lens correction profile is built into the lens correction module. If you're interested, send a PM and I'll point you towards a tutorial.

I have the Sigma 19 and the 30 as well; couldn't pass them up at $150 each from Amazon warehouse deals.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the the above suggestions are only for RAW files right? I guess I've become a little lazy lately and only shoot RAW if I absolutely have to. After all, the NEX-7 is my walk around point&shoot
Jeff: I mostly use Photoshop CS5.5. Does it use the same raw processing as LR4? I have LR, but I really dislike the interface.

-Collin-
Same raw processing "engine," but I don't think the Lightroom plug in will work with ACR - somebody correct me if I"m wrong. (I'm using Capture One for my NEX files.)
My NEX came with software? Interesting cuz I never looked. I find LR does 90% of what I want, the other is handled by PS, which is panos and intense editing(which I don't need very often).
sebboh, I like them both, but I'm biased towards color since that's how I see the world.
