the second shot is amazing! can I ask what PP you did? And where in indonesia was this taken?
Thanks, your shots were also very good and if taken into account that is done by a non native, its fantastic! This was taken in Bandung during Ied Mubarak celbrations, the same scale as Christmas in the west. While I stay permanently in Jakarta.
About the PP, I didn't put much of thinking..too lazy these days, I just clicked a preset in lightroom. Its called EFF Dragan if you're curious.
Anyways, which part of indo did you go? most westerners knows Bali but not indo but I don't blame them

Thanks for the tip, I just upgraded to Lightroom 4 today so I'll take a look... I was actually considering the ZM25 biogon, its super sharp and has that zeiss punch.
I've been a fair few times to indonesia.. most of my time has been spent in the east.. bali (of course).. I don't like to spend much time in kuta bali though... ubud (where the old woman photo was taken), lombok and the gilis... which are beautiful! On my most recent trip I was meant to actually spend some time in JK and then take a train to bandung... where I'm sure I would have been overwhelmed by photo subject! oh well there is always next time! I would actually like to come over and live in JK for some time...

I agree on the ZM 25, one of my nicer lenses indeed but save the pennies and get the 24 1.8 instead. The AF should be nice on several occasions.
About the capital and bandung, each will be very diverse photographically speaking but it wont be organized and pretty like KL. You will need to pay attention to getting from one place to another as public transport is not something to be proud of but both of them are safe.
Give me a shout if you come here again and I'll tell you the good places to go..
Recently went on a trip to Japan. Haven't organized too many of the photos yet and most taken with native E-mount glass, but I did take alternative glass for a walk one night.
Maiko and Geiko (Geisha) sending off a client in a cab. Someone at flickr even knew their names.

@frezeiss loving these shots! keep them coming... you're making very jealous re the ZM25!
I might have to get one of these... are these shot at f2.8?
Ulrik, partitura, frezeiss, magnificent pictures! Partitura, the last is my favorite, though each one is very nice indeed. Frezeiss, I have no clear preference, and I like them all.
