How (un)welcome would SLT-A77 photos be here? I realize it's not a NEX-7, just the NEX-7 on steroids
I would try to make a "Sony" thread but I fear I'm 1 of maybe 2 people here that shoot a Sony 'big body' and the image threads are so fragmented, the plain "Alt Image thread" goes nowhere!

Ah well, maybe I can start one anyway
I, for one, wouldn't mind A77 images here. Its lenses can be used on NEX with an adapter and are therefore relevant. And, as you say, it shares a sensor with the NEX 7.
I posted a mixed A900/NEX post the other day and no one flamed me.

There's already an A mount thread which covers the SLT's (as well as the Sony & Minolta DSLR's and the Minolta film bodies), you're welcome to post there. Just posted in it to bring it back to the main page. I'm also shooting a Sony 'Big Body', the A700, as well as two Maxxum 7's (and a NEX-7).
Nice street photography up there and love that beach shot with the Samyang.
Some so-so shots from i took during the weekend, getting a lot of use out of my CY35-70 lately. The only thing I don't like about this lens is its size. I wonder if the performance of the Contax G35-70 is comparable when stopped down .

I have not bought it (yet..), I have the equally huge (or even bigger) cousin of yours, the pump-action CY28-85. Performs absolutely great on the 5D2, but feels a bit ridiculous to put on the 5N :-)
I also own a C/Y 35-70, but since I bought my Leica R 60mm Makro, don't use it at all any more. And the Leica is less large, though not small or light by any means, and goes down to 1:1 with the accessory tube.
