the images are resized to 1440 px.
Also your pictures are wonderful ... I own a 58/1.2 Rokkor. I'm waiting for the adapter to be able to try on nex. Then I want to also try the Rollei Planar 85/1.4 50/1.4, but I lack a true wide angle.
Ok, my small offering from today. All 5N + kit lens.
I was heading out to go biking, camera in hand, when my friend arrived with a couple of rolls of hay for my goaties. Per Phillip, I pushed these really hard in post to lift the shadows on his face. Also desaturated the color a bit. Overall, very happy with them. Plus he rarely stops moving long enough for a pose and a smile, so it was a treat to be able to take them.
Heading back to my truck on the bike - CRP - the government land program is making farmers tear up stripes of land to plant 'deer friendly' forage. Ok. Makes for an interesting 'scape, though a cloud or two would not have hurt either.
Wow, that is quite a set Andrew, I think anyone who appreciates color would consider this series a win, although I confess I like the first shot the best.
Renders perfectly in Firefox 10.0.2 btw, the colors are extremely pleasing.
Well about 48 hours ago I slipped and fell and fractured a vertebra. I thought I'd be out of action for a while, but in fact all it did was park me in front of the computer to spend even more time scouting for lenses on craigslst.
So today when I saw a minty Pen F 40mm f1.4 (with accompanying Pen f body) listed for a reasonable price, I couldn't pass it up. My wife loves anything Olympus so she was game and volunteered to drive.
After picking the lens up, I couldn't resist taking it for a little test run. With my injured back, the tilt screen on the 5N sure came in handy.
I must say, this lens doesn't impress me too much at f1.4, and the veiling flare can be quite strong shooting into the light, but it sure looks good stopped down a bit, it's fun to use, and I know which lens to use to shoot a 1970's summer-themed album cover!
