Is that from the Wasa?

You really know your ways around here Carsten, 10 points :-). Yes it's the Vasa and one of 64 gun port hatches, and also the effect of bringing a 90mm lens to an unplanned museum visit.

Here a full gun port but now on a 2m model. ISO3200 Contax G 90.

Yay, my adapters for my Nex is here, now I can use alt glass =)
First walk around tests with a Rokkor 28/2, this lens feels like a good match (focal length and speedwise, maybe not sizewise) for Nex.

A very (!) tasteful BW conversion. Has that classic look!

Cheers

John, interesting bokeh on the last image! I like.

NEX C3 + OM 50/1.2

f/8, gotta get back here with the CZJ 135. I think the framing would be better. Plus I could not see a damn thing on the back LCD, and had to go by peaking to guess at focus. Really need the 5N and EVF!

f/?, I LOVE this road sign!

Both locations should be awesome some dark and brooding evening when the Sky God is very angry.

Michelle,
very nice color in the first one.great sky.I noticed a sensor spot on the first one which makes me wonder do the Nex cameras have a sensor cleaning option or does this have to be done manually on these cameras?

Jim - DOH! Dust bunny! Wow!! I didn't even see it. I will definitely look w/ the loupe and see if I can use the blower to dislodge it.

ETA, it was a sticky dust mote, but it came off with a rocket blower and some persistence.

Well, I guess this could be an advertisement for focus peaking.

I uploaded a shot of this orchid earlier in the thread, but it was handheld. Liked it so much that I decided to bring out the tripod for some proper macro work.

Good morning
I have been admiring all of the beautiful photos here
I currently shoot with a D700 and use only Nikkor Manual Focus Glass
Will the nex-7 allow me to use these lens? I know I would have to use an adapter
I was considering adding a Fuji X100 but now I am leaning toward the Nex-7
Thanks in advance for any response

Reagan

I'm sure you will be fine (although I personally dont use any Nikon lenses). 224 hits on ebay regarding the various available "Nikon NEX adapter"s

I tend to agree, that's why I keep them small and in the corner!

The NEX system in general can via adapters use just about any lens you come across, there are issues with ultra wide RF glass(corner performance), AF lenses from other systems(no communication(this may/will change over time), and a few others.
