Wonderful morning foggy light here, Bob. Very cool shot.
I would take the trouble to clone out the poles and wires here, though. Should be pretty easy.
I do agree with Barry that the power poles take away from this. How about posting that image where you removed them? I think it would really strengthen the shot.

Many thanks for your most welcome and kind comments, suggestions. Glad you like the image, now cleaned of most visible traces of distracting utilities Hope it is more visually improved.
If this was my own shot, I'd probably really hate doing it on a visual level, because it does work so much better without them, but I feel that I'd choose to leave the poles in. I use an internal guide for cloning out things and maintaining scenic authenticity by using what I call the "client drive-by factor" and the "fingernail factors" when selling a print.
Great scene w/o the poles. Still, a very good scene even with the poles left in.
Nice one Bob - I definitely prefer the pole-less version myself. That one keeps my attention much longer and lets me savor the beauty of the scene. The poles and lines just seem to jump out and distract me in the first version.
I much prefer it with the poles. I think cropping up from the bottom to just after the ditch would work better, also. I find intrigue with the poles there, as you see just a tad of the road and the poles guide you thru the fog. without the poles, the right side feels quite empty. just my .02
