Went out with Sophie and Erica for a night on the town taking photographs. Abient light at night, ultra high ISO, fast glass, no flash, no noise reduction. Lovely!

Thanks for looking! Wanted to share the entire set as a whole, not really looking for individual comments on each photograph but any comments would be appreciated
Like that kind of noise and yeah - great shots! Like the style but in my opinion (I really like to do same way with dark shadows and tons of noise) not many ways to sell ^that^.
I appreciate that you're always trying something different. Some of these I really liked - 8,9,12,14,15. Some of the others were a bit too creepy for me, but that's cool. I'm a little disappointed that you aren't wearing your trademark shorts in the last one, though ;-)
I really like this series - it hangs together as a story that was worth telling. The ISO 12800 works well on the 1D-IV - glad you did not reduce noise - that would have lessened the feel.
I am also envious of the weather you had two days ago (although it does look on the cool side) - here it is well below freezing and out-doors is a forgotten dream.
Sweeeeet! You've got great friends/models. #7 - love the discovery aspect of this shot, first it's a street scene at night, then it's like... wha?? Same with #10, to a lesser degree. Very cool.

Mitch, really happy you said the word "wha??" in regard to that photo, because that is 100% its intention. Big thanks to Sophie for being a trooper and laying down face first in a puddle.

Hardlyboring, the cigs in hair was one of their ideas, I wasn't away Lady Gaga made Cig glasses haha I'm sure that influenced the cigarette hair braid in some way haha

these are really interesting and i'm digging the high ISO of it all. i don't care much for any of the cigarette hair ones but hey, you're not here to please me, right.
definitely some cool shots and even the ones i don't like, i still find intriguing.

Not something i would have thought of. Not too sure it appeals to me. But on second thought, maybe it could. Interesting. Not just the images but the concept is, well, interesting.
