Steve, is that first flower shot a tiger Lilly?
Love those 28/2 landscape shots too.
Sebboh, like that snow b&w shot.
Ricardovaste, Jim B. did excellent conversions of both my MC and MD 28/2's and he could answer your question.

Yes the first one is a tiger lilly, and thanks for your kind words. I am very impressed by the 28 f/2. A great all around performer.
Those tiger lillies are rare here in California, I just got to see and photograph one that they were trying to reintroduce to Muir Woods. Love the Rokkor colors and sharpness this lens has even close up and wide open.
Hi All, I wonder what is the reasonable current price for Rokkor 35/1.8?
I have friend in Japan that maybe I could ask his help to find one at a reasonable price.

$150 to $250 seems to be the going rate. 49mm filter versions seem to sell for more than 55mm filter versions. auction prices tend to vary a lot due to the low supply and low demand.
@sebboh: Thanks a lot for the info. Hope my friend could find one.
I plan to sell my 35 lenses which have the same character (same blur rendering) and get the Rokkor 35 so that I will only have two 35mm lenses with completely different rendering
I am still searching for the 24/2.8 VFC too. Some showed up on eBay, but quite expensive. They're all gone now.
Here's the full image of the building which was used for the wall tests (the crops were taken from these) - as I would normally process it. But I would normally bump the recovery slider first of course - to cure those blown out clouds.
F/5.6 - About 40 meters away.
A Tree... and some sky-thru-branches atop:
F/2.8 - Shows some lens bloom.
F/3.4 - Mostly cleared up in one click.
F/5.6 - I think this is actually f/5.6 even tho I have the file named for F/8.
It doesn't matter tho... those two apertures look identical at thais distance.
Between 15 and 17 meters from the Willow's trunk.
Here I'm between 25 and 30 meters away from this gazeeeeeeeeebo.
F/2.8 - Focus Point 100% Crop Embedded.
F/5.6 - Or F/8, again I forget which I actually used.
Distant Architecture & FG Trees - The microwave tower there is almost 1km away.
F/2.8 - with 100% Crop Embedded. (Damn flying rats! )
F/8 - with 100% Crop Embedded.
Stage Performers - from about 15 meters from focus point.
F/2.8 - Focus Point 100% Crop Embedded.
F/5.6 - Focus Point 100% Crop Embedded. (Again I think f/5.6 and not f/8 like I named it... <shrug> )
@Jim: I still have no guts to shave the mirror So far I use live view though sometimes I forget to rotate the focus to the mfd before unlock the mirror
