Carolyn: I am trying to decide which ones to print for my wall at work. Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

DV-Dimitri: It is one of those spots - like Moraine Lake, Peyto, Mt Fitzroy - that is always inspiring. Thanks for the feedback. Scott

Really, really nice! #4 is my favorite: a great sky and a terrain that leads you from the foreground to the mountains makes it a very pleasing composition.

Scott,

Don't know how I missed this series for the first 3 pages??

Outstanding! You captured the perfect conditions for portraying those scenes. Nice exposures and processing - make very large prints!

Flying / hiking in is one thing - the willingness to leave is another!
Thanks
Mark

Excellent Scott. And what a location. You have certainly developed the style that works for you, and that is what it is all about.

Very nice,

Brian

Mark: It became cold and rainy and, that combined with 3 days without a shower, made it easy to leave. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Brian: It is a fantastic location. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

Wow some really truly nice photos! I come back to these almost daily!

Can you explain the 2/3 blended / 1/3 HDR? also are you using photomatix or enfuse?

Really nice series Scott. I love the the last pano shot on the first page. All are well done, but I love that view. How's Rory doing by the way?

1szfitsAL: I shot 3 shots - 2stops over and under plus regular, all raw. I processed the regular to the best of my ability in Photoshop. I took the 3 shots, used photomatix and enhancer with saturation turned down a bit to creat a hdr tiff. I then adjusted the hdr tiff in photoshop to best I could. I then clicked on top left corner arrows (to select move) and pressed shift and dragged the regular single image on top of the hdr tiff, since they were on a tripod and exactly the same spot they matched. I then faded the opacity on the single image by about 1/3. Thats what I meant by 2/3 1/3.

Glad you liked them. Thanks Scott

tgrando: Rory is fine. He told me he ran into you in Peru. Someday I will go as well. Rory is well and back at school to be an engineer. Glad you liked the pictures. Thank you very much. Scott

Thx Scott much appreciated. I only have LR right now but was strongly thinking about buying PS to blend layers easier.
