aF: Glad you like them. I am still choosing the best images. I rushed all these shots and the pano because I was excited to post. I will fix the pano or find a better one.Thank you for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Moose54: November is a tougher month. The color will be gone and it will get hard to hike and too early to snowshoe. But if you are here it is still worth visiting for early ice on frozen lakes etc. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Kelly Phillips: It is a very very pretty place. You should go. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Roman: I have so many pictures I am having a hard time choosing. Then I rushed to post. That was what I was referring to. I appreciate the feedback. Thank you. Scott
Scott..that last shot pano took my breath away..i am there, and although i tried to climb assiniboine twice 30 years ago, never got to nob ridge...too tired carrying 70 pound pack with pro, ice axe, rope etc. wow...you are a gifted photographyer. next year..bill
Vern: It was a great time. I will have to go back. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Bill: Climbing Assiniboine sounds pretty scary to me. But the hike to Nub was easy until we after the tree line.I have talked to someone who has climbed Assiniboine and he describes it as very dangerous. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Henry: The location is stellar. And the weather and the larch were too. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
jph1: thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott
Mick Haensler: The pano was after 2 hours of hiking in the dark with headlamps past an area where we had seen grizzlies and then shivering in the dark. So I am glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated. Scott

This is a post for Bill who is an fm'er that was going to go with me and then had some sudden changes in schedule and was not able to go. Thank you Bill for stirring me to go to Assiniboine. It was the best weekend of the summer.

Brilliant work Scott. I like the color and composition in this one the best. Well done!
Really great panorama. It has a super amount of detail to roam around in for a long time.
For the first photo I'd try and paint out that bright hot spot in the sky. It's very distracting and pulls unneeded attention away from the otherwise glorious view.
I love the set, with emphasis on #1 and 4. These two blow me away for their beauty.
I would like to see more of this area, so do please post more here if you have them.
Outstanding shots Scott!! Looks like you had superb weather, perfect fall colors and some clouds to add depth to the shots. Oh, and having great friends and family to share it with is priceless. Truly special!!!
